Divided into two sections – cityscapes and landscapes – ‘So near yet so far’ is a photography exhibition by Mariana Gil.

Through a visual diary, she creates insights into everyday life, exploring the structure of landscapes across multiple locations: from walking in the streets of Aarhus to revisiting her home country of Brazil.

‘So Near Yet So Far’, which will open at END OF THE LINE in mid-August, looks at how we feel about our environment and connect to personal landscapes - the memories, identities and associations we hold.

“A journey implies a destination, so many miles to be consumed, while a walk is its own measure, complete at every point along the way.”

– Francis Alÿs

Ny udstilling af fotograf Mariana Gil:‘So Near Yet So Far’ åbner i Business Park Skejby.

‘So Near Yet So Far’ åbner i END OF THE LINE i midten af august.
