Visual Diary | In the Studio with Katrina Bolshakova
What you are about to see is a part of a whole universe of brands, dreams, pains and incredible creativity.
My name is Juan and I’m the co-founder of AARHUSMAKERS but what I really love to do is to get into the backstage, the studios and the “behind the scenes” where I can get to experience first time the quality and quantity of work that is put into creating art.
In case of Katrina I cannot emphasize enough the pictures do not make justice to the amount of work and effort that is concentrated in her studio. Yet, this is my humble attempt to do so. Rosanna Stevens wrote a fantastic piece about Katri’s. I’m better with photographs than words so feel free to jump from one link to the other.
Every photograph is an attempt to document the soul of an incredibly talented human. Katri is currently building one of her most ambitious shows, “Zolitude Swamp” and you can feel the energy and the excitement in her words, but also the catharsis taking place in her thought process, the trillion tasks, the countless hours in front of a computer working out the mundane details that go with an event of this scale.
Mind you, if you don’t come, you may just miss a whole train of creativity and dreams.
I for one, will be there the 6th June, because I can’t really wait to see and awake.
